MAINTENANCE / SERVICE
MAINTENANCE SUGGESTIONS
This heater has been designed and constructed for
a long performance life when installed and operated
properly under normal conditions. Regular
inspections, as outlined in this section, are strongly
recommended as means of keeping your heater
operating efficiently throughout the season.
1. Cleaning
Heater must be cleaned annually. Keep heater
clear of dust and debris especially in and around
burner.
Cleaning procedures of heater are as follows:
1) Turn heater off. Allow to cool for one hour.
2) Remove the Front Panel by removing
screws. See schematic page.
3) Use pressurized air to remove dust from
around main burner.
4) Use soft dry cloth to wipe cabinet.
DO NOT DAMAGE OR DISTORT ANY PARTS OF
HEATER.
DO NOT USE WET CLOTH OR SPRAY
CLEANERS ON BURNER.
2. Visual check of main burner flames.
Flame pattern should be as shown in the
following Figures.
The burner must flame evenly over the entire
surface when operating correctly. The flame
must burn with a clear blue stable flame. See
page for location of view ports. Any and all parts
removed for inspection or service must be
replaced before operating unit.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRIC MOTORS
Motors are permanently lubricated and need
no lubrication. Keep fan and motor free of
dust and dirt clean annually.

3. The appliance area must be kept clear and free from
combustible materials, gasoline and other
flammable vapors and liquids.
4. The flow of combustion and ventilation air should not
be obstructed.
5. Verify proper operation after servicing.
