Q:
The selected disc image file was not prepared for the current CD.
Write anyway? (This is not likely to produce a readable CD!)?
A:
These errors occur if you prepared the disc image file for a blank CD and
are now trying to record it to a CD containing data, or vice-versa. In either
case, you would write a CD that cannot be read at all because the CD
addresses calculated for the disc image are wrong for this CD.
Q:
I noticed that Nero Express completes the burn process, but I see
nothing on the CD/DVD. Why is this?
A:
Have you successfully installed your new DVD+RW/+R drive? To check,
plug in and power on the drive. Now try to see if you can read a CD from the
drive. If you can read a CD in the drive, but Nero Express is not seeing your
drive, make sure you power on the DVD+RW/+R drive BEFORE launching
Nero Express. Under the main Nero Express window should be a drop menu
that lists your “current recorder”. Make sure it is selected on your
DVD+RW/+R drive and not on “image recorder”. If “image recorder” is
your only option, uninstall and reinstall the DVD+RW/+R drive. If this does
not solve the issue, you may need to reinstall or update your USB controllers.
