• Never leave dead, old, or weak
batteries in the SCR-99. They
can leak chemicals and corrode
or damage electronic circuits.
• If you do not plan to use batter-
ies in the SCR-99 for a month or
more, remove the batteries to
protect the SCR-99 from possi-
ble battery leakage.
