year for daylight savings time, so you won’t

• One-Button Express Record (XPR)
Simplifies the recording of a TV show in
progress. One button begins recording and
sets the program length, so that the VCR
records and switches off automatically.
• Quick Start Mechanism
As soon as a tape is loaded into the VCR,

Simplifies locating a blank portion of the tape

• Auto Power On/Play/Rewind/Shutoff
Simply inserting a cassette in the VCR turns
it on (Auto Power On). When a prerecorded
cassette is inserted in the VCR, it automatically
starts playing (Auto Play). When the end of the
tape is reached, Auto Rewind automatically
rewinds the tape. If the VCR is turned off
during rewind, it will continue rewinding
until end of tape is reached, then shut off.
• Auto Clock Set 4
The Auto Clock Set circuitry reads the Gemstar
broadcast signal

clock during initial setup as well as after
