OPERATION
RECEIVING AND STORING CALLS
Your System 440 allows you to see information about an incoming call
whether or not you are on the phone.
As you receive each call, your module saves a call record so you can re-
view it later. Your module saves up to 99 call records before it begins to
replace the oldest call record with a new one.
Each call record includes:
• Date and time of the call
• Call number (order the call
is received)
• Telephone number
• Caller’s name (if avail-
able)
Note:
If you have a telephone that has a HOLD feature, we do not rec-
ommend using HOLD for very long. A caller on hold might be discon-
nected if a new call comes in.
