1. BRIEF DESCRIPTION
1.1 Overview
DN 482/483 Night Vision Scope (the unit) is a modern versatile night vision device
designed for a wide range of amateur and professional activities:
Night time observation and hunting
Law enforcement and security
Search and rescue
Wildlife observation
Night time photography and video
The device is equipped with a high-quality electro-optical image intensifier (Gen. 2+/3,
18 mm, MCP) that that amplifies the image brightness in the visible and IR spectra,
thus providing for up to 400 – 700 m observation range in low light conditions.
The unit has two modifications: 3.7x and 6.1x; the first one is pictured in this
document.
The observation range depends on the characteristics of the day scope the unit is
attached to and actual observation conditions, such as available light, atmosphere
transparency and target reflectivity. The observation range is increased by brighter
light, at the moon night, or if the object is positioned against a light background, such
as snow or grass. The range decreases at lower light, low atmosphere transparency, or if
the object is positioned against the dark background, such as a plough-land, desert,
stems of trees, etc.

device for no less than 50 hours.
