W. Balance
This sets the white balance for a variety of lighting conditions and adjusts the images
overall color according to the surrounding light conditions. Use this function if image
color appears unnatural.
* [Blank] Auto (for most photographic scenes)
* [$] Incand.
* [&] Fluoresc.1
* [*] Fluoresc.2
* [%] Daylight
* [#] Cloudy
* [k] Blue water
* [j] Algae water
* [z] Clear water
* [(] Manual WB: This manually sets the white balance and stores it. Use this feature if one of
the above pre-selected white balance lighting settings does not produce overall good image
quality for the lighting used in your image.
Place a white paper in the middle of the scene, with all lights that will be used in the photo
turned on. Zoom in on the paper, so it almost fills the frame. Then, select [Execute] from the
Manual WB menu. This establishes for the camera exactly what white should look like under
the current lighting conditions, and it will adjust its white balance accordingly.
ISO
This sets the sensitivity for capturing images. When the sensitivity is raised (and the
ISO figure is increased), images taken under low lighting or darker areas of the image
will be seen, but the image may be more pixelated/grainier overall. As a "rule of thumb"
the higher the ISO value the more grain in the image.
* [Blank] Auto
* [:] ISO 64
* [5] ISO 100
* [7] ISO 200
* [9] ISO 400
* [0] ISO 800

Metering
This sets the metering method for calculating the exposure.
Color
This sets the color of the overall image that will be captured.
* Standard / Vivid / Sepia / B&W / Blue / Red / Green / Yellow / Purple
* Center: Averages the light metered from the entire frame, but gives greater weight to the
subject matter at the center.
* Spot: A very small portion of the center of the screen is measured to calculate the correct
exposure.
* Average: The entire area of the screen is measured, and the exposure is calculated.
