Video CD/Super VCD PBC menus
Some Video CD/Super VCDs have menus
from which you can choose what you want to
watch. These are called PBC (Playback
control) menus.
You can play a PBC Video CD/Super VCD
without having to navigate the PBC menu by
starting playback using a number button to
select a track, rather than the
(play) button.
Singing Your Favorite Songs
Along with Karaoke Discs
This player has a karaoke feature that lets you
sing along with your favorite songs, featuring
(a) microphone(s) jack conveniently located
on the front panel as well as controls for
mixing the vocal level and amount of echo
effect.
To use the karaoke function you must have
this player connected to your amplifier using
the analog outputs. See also (
pages 12 , 15 ).
1 Turn both VOLUME and ECHO coun-
terclockwise to the minimum level.
To avoid possible damage to your speakers,
be sure to turn down the volume completely
before preceeding to step 2.
Button What it does
RETURN Displays the PBC menu.
Numbers Use to enter a numbered menu
option. Press
ENTER to select (or
wait a few seconds).
Displays the previous menu page
(if there is one).
Displays the next menu page (if
there is one).
