Gentle on the Eyes
Eye fatigue is suppressed, so both children and adults can
watch TV in comfort even when viewing for relatively long
periods of time. In a plasma TV, each pixel lights up, and the
lighting intensity is adjusted according to the scene.
Because of this, the images are not overly bright.
Long Panel Life, Up to 100,000 Hours
Panasonic Plasma technology advancement has resulted in 100,000 hours usage until the
panel achieves 50% of the original brightness. The VIERA plasma panel offers a long
service life of about 30 years or more, when watched for eight hours a day.
Eco Mode
The TV adjusts the picture settings automatically depending on the ambient lighting
conditions. The image brightness changes according to the level of room lighting to
achieve an energy-saving operation.
Mercury and Lead Free Plasma Display Panel
Panasonic is conscious about the environment. That’s why the current range of VIERA
Plasmas are lead-free and contain no mercury. This reduces the impact on the environment
when recycling or disposing of them in the future.
VIERA TOUGH PANEL
Front glass panel provides high resistance to impacts. The front of the plasma TV
is covered by a glass panel, for extra assurance just in case something hits it.
What's more, the protective panel makes cleaning easier too; simply wipe the
panel with a soft cloth when necessary.
Reduction of Lead Content
During 2006 approximately 4 million Plasma televisions were produced. Conventional Plasma
TVs contain 70 grams of lead. This means that Panasonic avoided using 280 tones of lead for
manufacturing Panasonic Televisions.
