Select digital audio output
If you connect the player to a sound system that
supports digital sound, select a compatible digital
audio output format.

6 Troubleshooting

Never remove the casing of this player. •
To keep the warranty valid, never try to repair the
system yourself.
If you encounter problems when using this player,
check the following points before requesting
service. If the problem remains unsolved, go to
the Philips web site (www.Philips.com/support), or
contact Philips (see Contact information). When
you contact Philips, ensure that your player is
nearby and the model number and serial number
are available (see ‘Get started’ on page 26).
No power
Ensure that both plugs of the mains cord are
properly connected.
Ensure that there is power at the AC outlet.
Ensure that the battery is inserted correctly.
Ensure that the car adaptor is connected
correctly.
