T
he PLANET ERT-805 Enterprise Serial router provides a serial WAN port
equipped with T1/E1 interface, one 10/100Base-TX LAN port, and one
console port for Internet access for both servers and LAN side. Because of
the compatibility with Cisco routers, the ERT-805 can easily connect to
your ISP and headquarter just like Cisco 805 serial router.
The ERT-805 provides QOS and Queue for optimizing bandwidth usage.
Moreover, the ERT-805 offers Network address Translate (NAT), Context-
based Access control (CBAC), access-list as well as Virtual private network
(VPN) for network security. The ERT-805 enables small and medium
enterprises to conduct business over the Internet while protecting valuable
resources. This router provides a serial port that offers up to 2Mbps (E1)
bandwidth and also supplies a reliable and stable path to Internet.
