Picture and Sound control
The picture and sound adjustment features (displayed on
these coloured buttons) are accessed differently:

Press and hold the button of the feature you want to
adjust.

Simultaneously press the Program up or down button to
adjust the setting.
Enter installation menu
To enter the installation menu simply:
Press the ‘EPG’-button and ‘Dual Screen’-button
simultaneously.
ADJUSTMENTS TO YOUR REMOTE CONTROL
Perhaps your remote control is not working with your TV or is
not performing some specific functions. There is a simple
procedure to adapt your remote control and give you access
to all the operational TV function sets you need.
Coloured buttons set is not working properly
Cause: Your TV is of an older type.
Solution: Press and hold the OK button and digit 1 button
simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- Coloured button functions are now performed as
on your original remote control.
Teletext buttons set is not working properly
Cause: Older TV’s work with different Teletext commands.
Solution: Press and hold the OK button and digit 2 button
simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- Teletext functions are now performed as on your
original remote control.
Teletext buttons set is not working at all
Cause: Older Matchline TV’s work with a different Teletext
system.
Solution: Press and hold the OK button and digit 3 button
simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- Teletext functions are now performed as on your
original remote control.
-In this mode it is not possible during Teletext
operation to use the digit buttons for channel
selection. To switch between channels with the
digit buttons first switch off the Teletext
function.
Picture in Picture (PIP) function is not
working
Cause: Older Philips TV’s work with different PIP commands.
Solution: Press and hold the OK button and digit 4 button
simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- PIP functions are now performed as on your
original remote control.
