Notice
• Make sure to remove paper clips and staples from documents before scanning. Failing to do so can
damage the flatbed glass.
• If the document is folded or creased, smooth it out before placing it on the flatbed glass.
1. Open the document cover (A).

2. Place the document face down, and align the edge of the document (A) with the standard mark (B) in
the upper right of the flatbed glass.

Notice
• If the document is set crooked on the flatbed glass, it will not be scanned correctly.
