OCKOUT
While using VOX, you can set the transceiver to detect when
the channel is busy (in use). With this function turned on,
VOX will not allow you to transmit while the channel is being
used. You can transmit only when the channel is free.

Turn the transceiver power OFF.

Press and hold the MENU key while turning
the transceiver power ON (for 1 second).

Press the
▲ or ▼ key to select “ ”.

Press the MENU key to select “
” (busy
lockout turned on) or “
” (busy lockout
turned off).
5
Press the PTT, MON, or CAL key to exit
Setting Mode.
