The Trip Computer can be used to record and display current speed, aver-
age speed, maximum speed, and moving and stationary time. The GPS
Information Display function shows current status of the GPS receiver and
satellite, displaying GPS signal strength, satellite position, altitude history
and elevation information.
TRIP COMPUTER AND GPS INFORMATION DISPLAY
The screen display and voice guidance systems are compatible with a total
of eleven languages (English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Ital-
ian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish). Of these, seven (English,
Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) are TTS (Text To
Speech) capable, using voice guidance to read street names aloud.
CHOICE OF LANGUAGE
Simply touching the large, logical on-screen icons gives easy, positive system
control. Thanks to its intuitive operation, touch screen control is superior to
any other command interface.
TOUCH SCREEN CONTROL
Just press the “Where To?” key to begin searching for your destina-
tion. The six search modes available are: (1) Address (including Post code
search), (2) Food & Hotel (Points Of Interest), (3) Streets & Cities (including
intersections and motorway exits), (4) Browse Map (touch and drag directly
on the map), (5) My Locations (Memory Points), (6) Recent Finds (up to 50
previously searched locations).
DESTINATION SEARCH
The optional TMC unit provides real-time display of traffi c conditions on the map.
What’s more, the system can also recalculate your route to avoid traffi c jams according
to traffi c information received.
