How To Use the Character Entry Screen

1 Shifts the cursor.
2 Enters characters.
3 Scrolls up or down the character button
display.
4 Sets the key layout of the character buttons.
abc : Alphabetical key layout.
qwe : Qwerty key layout.
5 Enters a space.
If you erase a character, locate the cursor on
it and touch this button.
6 Clears the character.
7 Exits the Character Entry mode and returns
to the previous screen.

• You can enter characters only after you have applied the
parking brake.
When you select the Set Station Name mode or others, the following screen appears for character entry.
