REPLACEMENT:
1.
Set compression ring onto capillary end of bulb finger tight, 1/2” from end of bulb.
2.
Apply oil resistant flexible sealant onto reducing bushing (“compression fitting”)
threads before installing bushing into fryer vessel.
3.
Position bulb against upper element and install reducing bushing (“compression fit-
ting”) snugly into fryer vessel.
4.
Bend bulb so it contacts upper element and tighten compression nut onto reducing
bushing (“compression fitting”).
5.
Replace contactor shield with two screws.
6.
Slide black fabric sleeve over capillary and carefully coil capillary. Avoid crimping.
7.
Reconnect two wires to thermostat body.
8.
Replace two screws which hold thermostat body to control panel.
9.
Replace control panel.
10.
Replace three retaining screws and washers which hold dial plate in place.
11.
Replace thermostat knob.
12.
Slide two element clamps over thermostat bulb and upper element. Tighten both
clamps to attach bulb to element.
13.
Connect electric power source.
14.
Boil-out fryer.
15.
Refill fryer with oil to “Fill Level” line.
16.
Start fryer, preheat and calibrate with thermometer.
