Handling and operation
Open the cover of the battery compartment ‹ 11 on the bottom of
the appliance.
Insert a 9V Block battery (not supplied) into the battery compart- ‹
ment 11 . Ensure that the polarities are correct.
Close the battery compartment ‹ 11 by replacing the cover and
allowing it to lock into place.
Providing mains power
Plug the mains power plug into a wall socket. The time of day ‹
(0:00 o'clock) will be shown in the display 4 .
VHF wire antenna
For VHF reception completely unfold the wire antenna ‹ 6 .
Handling and operation
In this chapter you receive important information for the handling
and operation of the appliance.
Setting the time
Press and hold the TIME button ‹ 10 .
Press and hold the UP button ‹ 9 resp. DOWN button 8 to set
the time.
Release the TIME button ‹ 10 when the correct time is indicated in
the display 4 . The adjusted time will be automatically accepted
as soon as the TIME button 10 is released.
