Changing/Removing the Windows Password
To change the Windows password
1
Click Start and then Control Panel.

Click the User Accounts icon.

Click your user account under or pick an account to change.

Click Change my password.

Enter the current password under Type your current password.

Enter a new password under Type a new password and the same password under Type the new password again to
confirm.
7
Click Change Password.
To remove the password
1
Click Start and then Control Panel.

Click the User Accounts icon.

Click your user account under or pick an account to change.
4
Click Remove my password.
5
Enter the current password that you want to remove.
6
Click Remove Password.
