GLOSSARY
3D Digital Comb Filter
The D Digital Comb Filter separates Y signals from
C signals with great accuracy to emphasize fine
images and shape boundaries.
Six Picture Modes
The projector offers six picture modes – Dynamic,
Standard, Game, Living (Room), Cinema, and
Presentation – allowing users to choose the
optimum picture mode setting for the image
source.
I/P Conversion
For interlaced video sources, I/P (Interlace/
Progressive) conversion is applied to the signals to
project clear and sharp progressive images.
2-3/2-2 Pull-down Images
Film-originated video sources are converted to
interlaced signals by using the - or - pull-down
process. When displaying these film-originates
sources, the projector detects the pull-downed,
interlaced signals and then applies I/P conversion
to these, allowing for each frame of the original film
to be accurately reproduced.

DVI (HDCP) Interface
The projector can accept video signals via its DVI
(Digital Visual Interface) interface, and also offers
digital copy protection of these signals, compliant
with the HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content
Protection) specification.
HD-SDI/SD-SDI Interface
The projector supports an HD-SDI/SD-SDI interface
to project high-quality digital video applied from
sources such as Sony’s HDCAM
TM
VTRs and
XDCAM
TM
HD/SD recorders.
Dual-link HD-SDI Interface
The projector is equipped with a dual-link HD-SDI
interface, which can accept dual-link HD-SDI
(::), dual-link DC-SDI (RGB ::), HD-SDI (::),
DC-SDI (YPbPr ::), and 1-bit (X’Y’Z’ ::)
signals.
5 BNC Connectors
The projector is equipped with five BNC connectors,
enabling it to accept signals from sources such as
workstations and professional video equipment.
Furthermore, these interfaces support long-
distance signal transmission, allowing the sources
to be located far away from the projector.
12-bit 3D Gamma Correction
The projector incorporates 1-bit D gamma
correction circuitry to perform highly accurate
gamma correction, achieving uniform image color
and brightness that extends light to the corners of
the screen.
