Sound Field Operations

Taking advantage of
the sound fields

You can enjoy the surround sound effect by simply selecting one of the
pre-programed sound fields according to the type of playback source.

Select the input source.

Select the sound field. (See “Using the pre-programed sound fields”
on page 49.)
You can set the sound effect independently for each input source.

Select the input source for the sound effect you want to turn off.

Press SURROUND on the unit to turn off the sound effect.
To resume the previous sound effect, press SURROUND again.
