Watch Dog
JWD1 controls Watch Dog, a sys-
t e m m o n i t o r t h a t t a k e s a c t i o n
w h e n a s o f t w a r e a p p l i c a t i o n
freezes the system. Jumping pins
1-2 will cause WD to reset the
system if an application is hung
up. Jumping pins 2-3 will generate
a non-maskable interrupt signal for
the application that is hung up.
S e e t h e t a b l e o n t h e r i g h t f o r
jumper settings. Watch Dog can
also be enabled via BIOS.
Note: When enabled, the user
needs to write his own application
software in order to disable the
Watch Dog Timer.
