ABC, T9 Word, 123, and Symbol mode
You can enter text for some features such as
messaging, Phonebook, or Calendar, using T9 Word
and ABC mode for English. You can also use 123 mode
and Symbol mode.
Changing the text input mode
Example: Writing a text message
1. In the text entry screen, press <Mode>.
2. Select the mode you want.
Using ABC mode
Press the appropriate key until the character you want
appears on the screen.
