S TEP 2: C HARGE THE B ATTERY
1. Lift the rubber flap that covers the DC-in connector on the left side of the
SoMo.
2. Connect the AC adapter to the DC-in connector.
Alternatively, you can use the cradle, if included with your version of the
SoMo 650.
3. Plug the AC adapter into a suitable wall socket.
The SoMo 650 should be charged for 4 hours before first use.
Afterwards, charge the device as needed according to its battery level.
While charging, the power LED of the SoMo will be red. After charging is
complete, it will change to green.
CAUTION: WHEN CHANGING BATTERIES, DO NOT REMOVE THE MAIN
BATTERY FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES UNLESS AC POWER IS APPLIED TO
THE UNIT. REMOVING EITHER AC POWER OR THE MAIN BATTERY FOR MORE
THAN 5 MINUTES COULD RESULT IN THE SOMO FAILING TO POWER ON
AFTER CHANGING THE BATTERY.
