Getting Started
Installing Battery
To Install the Battery
1. Align the tabs at the bottom of the battery with the
corresponding slots in the phone.
2. Slide the battery toward the top of the phone until it
clicks in place.
Make sure that the battery is installed properly
before switching the phone on.
Charging a Battery
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery.
A desktop charger is provided with your phone. Use only
approved batteries and chargers. Ask your local
SAMSUNG dealer for further details.
The phone can be used while the battery is charging.
Note: You must fully charge the battery before using
your phone for the first time.
To Remove the Battery
1. If necessary, switch off the phone by pressing and
holding down until the power-off animation
plays.
2. Push down the catch on the back of the phone and
slide the battery away.
