Table Tilt
To adjust the working table angle:
1. Set the working table angle to the 90° mark
on the scale.
2. Using a 90° square, adjust the working table
so it is perpendicular to the sanding disc as
shown in
Figure 29.
3. Loosen the screw holding the angle indicator
and set it to the 90° mark on the scale.
4. Using a 90° square, check to see if the miter
slot is perpendicular to the sanding disc as
shown in
Figure 30.
5. To adjust, loosen the three screws shown in
Figure 31. Wiggle the table until the miter
slot is parallel to the sanding disc and tight-
en the adjustment screws.
Make sure the gap between the working
table edge and the sanding disc is no larger
than
1
⁄
8
". Your fingers could get caught in
the gap, causing serious personal injury.
