Tools needed for installation
Proper installation is the owner’s responsibility.
HOWEVER, SERVICE CALLS PERFORMED AS A RESULT OF POOR SET-UP, ADJUSTMENT, AND
CONNECTION ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER.
Make sure you have everything necessary for proper installation.
1. GROUNDED ELECTRICAL OUTLET is required. See Electrical Requirements.
2. POWER CORD for electric dryers (except Canada).
3. GAS LINES (if a gas dryer) must meet national and local codes.
4. EXHAUST SYSTEM – must be rigid metal or flexible stiff-walled metal exhaust ducting.
