Remote Button Operations Function
TEST TONE Receiver Press to output test tone.
EQ/TONE Receiver EQ ON/OFF.
MULTI /2CH Receiver Selects MULTI CH IN
A. DIRECT source.
MUTING Receiver Mutes the sound from
the receiver.
AV DISPLAY TV/VCR/ Selects information
LD player/ displayed on the TV
DVD player/ screen.
VCD player
TITLE/GUIDE DVD player Displays DVD title.
VCR/SAT
AV MENU DVD player Displays DVD menu.
VCR/SAT
MAIN MENU Receiver Press this button
repeatedly to select one
of the three cursor
modes: LEVEL,
SURROUND or EQ.
U/u/I/i DVD player Selects a menu item.
VCR/SAT
U/u Receiver Selects a menu item.
I/i Receiver Makes adjustment or
change the setting.
ENTER / DVD player/ Enters the selection.
EXEC VCR/SAT
EXIT/RETURN DVD player Returns to the previous
VCR/SAT menu or exits the menu.
MASTER VOL Receiver Adjusts the master
+/– volume of the receiver.

CD player Skips discs (CD player

only).
MONITOR TV Press to activate TV
control buttons. Press
again to restore original
category.
TV/VIDEO TV/VCR Selects input signal: TV
input or video input.
SEARCH MODE DVD player Selects searching mode.
CLEAR DVD player Press if you made a
mistake when you press
the number button.
VCD player Press to go back to the
(with n) previous menu.
WIDE TV Selects the wide picture
mode.
-/-- TV/VCR Selects the channel
entry mode, either
one or two digit.
ANT TV/VTR VCR Selects output signal
from the aerial terminal:
TV signal or VCR
program.
JUMP TV Toggles between the
previous and the current
channels.
SUB CH +/–* TV Selects preset channels
for the small picture.
VOL +/– TV Adjust the volume of TV.
POSITION* TV Changes the position of
the small picture.
MUTING TV Mutes the sound from
(with PAUSE) TV.
SWAP* TV Swaps the small and the
large picture.
