Mobile Phone Manager

MPM (Mobile Phone Manager) ena-

bles you to use extended phone

functions from your PC. The phone

and PC communicate via a data cable

(see Accessories), IrDA or Bluetooth.

MPM offers you a large number of

functions.
You can manage your address data

and contacts and synchronise them

with other phones (including Gigas-

et), dial at the press of a button, and

manage phone conferences. Creat-

ing, reading, saving and sending

SMS messages is also supported.
MPM makes managing your music

and sound files, playlists, ringtones

and videos effortless. At the click of

a mouse you can transfer the entire

contents of a music CD to your

phone in the form of space-saving

AAC or MP3 files, maintaining first

class quality.
With MPM you can easily and con-

veniently edit your photos, pictures

and wallpaper logos and add a wide

variety of effects.
Mobile Modem Assistant enables

you to use your phone conveniently

and easily as a modem both at home

and when travelling. You can easily

compile your WAP favourites and

copy them to your phone.
Naturally the data and settings on

your phone can also be backed up on

your PC with MPM. With Phone Ex-

plorer you can access the files in your

phone as if it was simply another

folder in your PC.
If wished, the software also auto-

matically takes over such routine

tasks as synchronising your contacts,

downloading the latest photos you

have taken, or updating your music

files.
MPM, a detailed user guide, and on-

line help are contained on the CD en-

closed with this phone. You can

download future versions of the

software from the Internet at:
