To grate or slice food:
Important: Use the SaladExpress only on a sturdy,
flat, dry surface.
1. Select and attach the appropriate cutting disc
to the cover of the SaladExpress as described
in ‘Assembling the SaladExpress’ (see figure 1).
2. Attach the cover of the SaladExpress to the
processing/serving bowl and fasten it with the
safety latches (see figure 3).
3. Set the function control switch located on
the rear of the cover handle, to the
‘Slice/Grate’ setting. See figure 4.
4. Using consistent, even pressure on the food
pusher, feed the food into the food chute
while holding down the power trigger switch
located underneath the front of the handle.

Important: The SaladExpress will only operate
while the power trigger is pressed.
Important: Always use the food pusher to feed
food into the food chute. Never place your
fingers in the food chute.
5. To stop grating or slicing, simply release the
power trigger switch.
6. Processed food will fall into the
processing/serving bowl. To retrieve food,
turn the function control switch to the ‘Off’
position, release the safety latches and lift
the cover of the SaladExpress away from the
processing bowl.
To spin salad greens:
Important: One of the cutting discs must be
attached to the cover of the SaladExpress for
the ‘Spin-Dry’ Function to operate.
Important: Use the SaladExpress only on a sturdy,
flat, dry surface.
1. Fill the basket with the salad greens you
want to spin. See figure 6.
Important: Suggested maximum weight is
550 grams.
2. Attach the cover of the SaladExpress to the
processing/serving bowl and fasten it with
the safety latches (see figure 3).
