DVD player
does not start
playback.
Check whether the ON/OFF switch (21) is
in the ON position.
Insert the disc with the label facing up.
Clean the disc.
The regional code of the DVD player does
not correspond with the inserted DVD.
The parental settings prevent the playback
of the inserted disc. Disable the parental
function.
Condensation in the unit. Turn the DVD
player on and wait until the moisture has
evaporated.

Check the power supply.
Check the volume setting.
Ensure that MUTE (32) is not activated.
Ensure that the A/V cable between DVD
player and external equipment is properly
connected and that the A/V cable is not
damaged.
Ensure that the cable of the active
antenna and the DVB-T antenna input (2)
are not damaged.
Ensure that the display is not switched off.
Press ADJUST (15) on the unit or
ADJUST (30) on the remote control to
turn the display on.
