SPDIF/OFF Select this setting if no external
equipment is connected. No digital
signal output.
SPDIF/RAW Select this setting to output a
digital signal if an audio decoder
or amplifier with audio decoder is
connected to the DVD player. Also
read and observe the user manual of
the connected equipment.
SPDIF/PCM Select this setting to output a digital
signal if a digital 2-channel amplifier
is connected to the DVD player. Also
read and observe the user manual of
the connected equipment.
SOUND
EFFECT
NORMAL Select this option to play the DVD
with normal sound.
SURROUND Select this option to improve the
output sound of the DVD (surround
sound).
DYNAMIC
RANGE
If the playback is too loud or too quiet, you can
quiet down louder sections with this function and
play quiet sections louder. Press (64) / (60) to
select a value (OFF, 1/8, 2/8, 3/8, 4/8, 5/8 6/8, 7/8,
FULL) and press (62) to confirm.
