Clearing memory
You can selectively clear information stored in your machine’s memory.
1. Press Menu , then press Memory Clear on the one-touch keypad.
The display shows the options you can choose to clear.
1. SYSTEM ID: Your system ID number and name are cleared from the
machine’s memory.
2. SYSTEM DATA: Restores user-selectable options to the default value.
3. PHONEBK&MEMORY: Clears the one-touch, speed dial, or group dial
numbers stored in memory. In addition, all the
schedule job operations you have reserved are
also canceled.
Note : If there is received data in memory to be printed you cannot clear
PHONEBK&MEMORY until printing it.
4. TX-RX JOURNAL : clears all records of transmissions & receptions.
2. Move to the options by pressing „ „ or
† repeatedly until the option you
want to clear is blinking.
3. Press Start/Enter . The display asks you to confirm your selection.
4. Press 1 to confirm. Or use ˆ ˆ or ¤ ¤ to choose ‘YES’, then press
Start/Enter . The selected memory is cleared.
