To use a PowerShell script provided under the software installation in the Tools folder
Run the following command to add an SRV record from using the command line interface:
powershell.exe -noexit
install -nameserver
target
Where

[full path to] is the location of the Tools folder in the Remote Ink service installation.

C:\Program Files\SMART Technologies\Remote Ink Service\Tools

[host name of name server] is the name of the DNS name server (i.e. the domain
controller).
o
[zone] is the DNS zone in which the SRV record should be installed.
o
[host machine name] is the name of the computer hosting Remote Ink service.
o
[time-to-live] is the number of seconds a computer hosting Remote Ink client is
recommended to cache the DNS record in its local DNS cache.
N O T E
Use a value of 0 to avoid caching the DNS record. The default value for this parameter,
if not specified, is 86400 (i.e. 24 hours).
