hands. To remove or install a blade on the JET Deluxe XACTA Saw simply push the
arbor locking button and use the included wrench that is formed with an offset that helps
keep your hand away from the cutting edges of the blade.
Modular Guard & Riving Knife
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw comes with a high-tech modular blade guard, anti-
kickback pawl and riving knife assembly that helps keep you safe in a wide range of
situations other designs are not capable of. The versatility of this system lets you work
safer and more efficiently.
The blade guard features independent side panels (leaves)
capable of rising individually or together depending on
the wood passing below them. When making narrow or
trim cuts, one panel can remain flat on the table while the
other rises as the wood passes beneath it. That affords an
extra margin of safety while enhancing dust collection
above the table. Both side panels can be rotated up out of
the way for measurements or aligning a cut line. The
entire blade guard can be flipped up out of the way for
blade changes. When necessary, the blade guard and anti-
kickback assemblies can be quickly removed from the
riving knife using push-button releases on their mounts. The

The riving knife assembly is mounted to the same casting as the

Internal Dust Collection
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw makes use of the fully enclosed cabinet
with a specially designed shroud that encloses the lower portion of the
blade. A 4”-diameter flex hose connects that shroud to a 4” diameter
exterior dust port on the rear of the cabinet. When teamed with a
capable dust collector such as the JET DC1100 series, this is a highly
efficient system that dramatically reduces the amount of dust escaping
