Avoiding Misuse
9 Setting the child lock will disable the buttons
on the unit and the remote control.
9 If the tray lock is set, the disc tray will not
function even when OPEN/CLOSE is
pressed.

0 Timer recording will be performed even when the
child lock is set.
To Disable Operation (Child Lock)
When the unit is turned on
Press and hold STANDBY/ON on the
remote control for more than 10 seconds.
0 ACLB is displayed on the front display panel.
To cancel the child lock
Perform the same operation.
To Lock the Disc Tray (Tray Lock)
When the unit is turned off
While holding STOP/CLEAR ( o) on the
unit, press OPEN/CLOSE ( M).
0 ALOCKB is displayed on the front display panel.
To cancel the tray lock
Perform the same operation.
0 AUNLOCKB is displayed on the front display panel.
