Deleting Files
Previously stored fi les can be deleted either
one at a time or all at once.

Perform steps

Press MENU.

Select “MEMORY CARD” ( ).

Select “DELETE”, press SET. The
DELETE Menu appears.
• Press whenever you want to return to
the previous menu screen.
To delete the currently displayed fi le

Select “CURRENT”, press SET. The
DELETE screen appears.

Press or to select the desired fi le.

Select “EXECUTE”, press SET.
• To cancel deletion, select “RETURN”.
• Repeat

for all fi les you
want to delete.
Note:
If the “ ” mark appears, the selected fi le is
protected and cannot be deleted.
To delete all fi les stored in the memory
card

Select “ALL”, press SET. The DELETE
screen appears.

Select “EXECUTE”, press SET.
• To cancel deletion, select “RETURN”.
Notes:
• Protected
fi les (
੬ 25) cannot be deleted. To
delete them, remove protection fi rst.
• Once fi les are deleted, they cannot be
restored. Check fi les before deleting.

This camcorder is compatible with the DPOF
(Digital Print Order Format) standard in order
to support future systems such as automatic
printing.
* Up to a maximum limit of 999 stored fi les in
the memory card.
