Using the number pad

Press the number buttons (0-9) and the
dash (-) button, then wait for the television
to change channels, or press OK to go
immediately to that channel.

For example, if you want to select channel
8-3, press 8-3 on the remote control. (Make
sure that you press the buttons within three
seconds of each other, or the channel won’t
be entered correctly.)

Note

You can use the Manual Channel Set Menu to
select a channel you want to view.

Note

If a channel label is provided on the signal from
the broadcasting station, the television displays
the short name for the DTV channel, even if you
didn’t set up a label for that channel.

Note

In some situations, virtual channel numbers do not
correspond to physical frequencies.
