The IBM 72 W DC Power Adapter charges your IBM ThinkPad computer as an
ac adapter does. It enables you to provide power to your mobile computer
using either a standard automobile cigarette-lighter socket or a 4-pin power
receptacle, such as the EMPOWER in-flight power system, which is available
on many airplanes.

This option package includes:

v One cigarette-lighter connector
v ThinkPad 72 W DC Power Adapter User’s Guide (this manual)
The 72 W DC Power Adapter has cables extending from each end of the
adapter box. One cable connects to your IBM ThinkPad computer. The other
cable connects to the electricity source. The electricity-source connector is a
dual-purpose connector for use with either a cigarette-lighter socket or a 4-pin
power receptacle.
