Common Radio Features
Private Calls (Trunking Only)
These one-to-one calls between two radios are not heard by others in
the current talkgroup.
Answer a Private Call
Use the Preprogrammed Call Response Button.
1 When a private call is
received you hear two alert
tones and the LED flashes
GREEN. • Two alert tones
• LED flashes GREEN
2 Press the preprogrammed
Call Response button
within 20 seconds.
3 Press and hold the PTT
button to talk; release it to
listen.
4 Press the Call Response
button to hang up.
