2.7 Automatic battery cut-out
This circuit prevents accidental battery discharging.
To save power, the charging circuit for the flash
capacitor is switched off some 1-2 minutes after the
flashgun was switched on or after a flash was trigge-
red. The green operating light goes out, but the
mecablitz remains ready for operation as long as the
orange flash-ready light is on (approx. 5-10 min).
If no flash is triggered while flash readiness is
indicated, then the flash-ready light goes out and the
mecablitz is completely switched off.
Complete flashgun switch-off can be avoided for
the next 5-10 minutes by firing a flash or by pressing
the switch I.
Press switch I to switch the mecablitz on again.
