INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new sweeper, please read
through these instructions carefully before using it for
the fi rst time. We also recommend that you keep the
instructions for future reference, so that you can remind
yourself of the functions of your sweeper.

SAFETY MEASURES
• Use the sweeper for its intended purpose only.
• The sweeper is for indoor domestic use only.
• Do not use the sweeper to vacuum up hot objects

(e.g. matches, hot ashes, cigarette butts), hard
or sharp objects, wet or damp substances, or
combustible materials.

• The sweeper, charger or cord must not be placed in

water or any other liquid.

• Never touch the sweeper, cord, charger or plug with

wet or damp hands.

• Never leave the sweeper unattended when it is

switched on. Children should be supervised when
using it.

• Never use the sweeper if it is damaged or not

functioning correctly. Never use the sweeper if the
collection tray has not been fi tted.

• Do not cover the sweeper nozzle. Never insert

objects into the openings.

• Do not charge the sweeper out of doors.
• The sweeper contains a rechargeable NiMH battery.

If the battery needs to be replaced, ensure that you
dispose of the old battery correctly. Used batteries
must not, under any circumstances, be burned or
disposed of together with ordinary household waste!
If the battery leaks or explodes and you get battery
acid on your skin or in your eyes, rinse immediately
with plenty of cold water for at least 10 minutes and
consult a doctor.

• Do not use the charger for other products, and

do not use chargers from other products on the
sweeper.

• Always plug the charger directly into a wall socket,

not an extension cable.

• Avoid pulling the cord when removing the charger

from the socket. Instead, hold the charger. Keep the
charger cord and sweeper away from heat sources,
hot objects and naked fl ames.

• Switch the sweeper off and unplug it when it is not

in use, before cleaning, and before emptying the
collection tray.

• Never try to repair the sweeper yourself. If the

sweeper, cord, charger or plug needs to be repaired,
it should be taken to an authorised service centre.
Please contact the store where you bought the
device for repairs under guarantee.

KEY TO THE SWEEPER PARTS
1. Sweeper
2. Mounting
3. On/Off button
4. Indicator
5. Collection tray
6. Shaft
7. Charger
8. Protective cover
9. Handle
10. Charging socket
11. Corner brush
12. Floor brushes

PREPARING AND CHARGING THE SWEEPER
• Assemble the shaft (6) by inserting the three

segments into each other. The short segment
(far left in the picture) should be at one end. Fit
the handle (9) at the opposite end, and insert
the assembled shaft into the mounting (2) on the
sweeper (1). The shaft can be set to different angles
by tilting the mounting, to achieve the best working
position for different jobs.

• Plug the charger (7) into the wall socket, and plug

the cord into the charging socket (10) on the back
of the sweeper. Switch on the wall socket and
charge the sweeper for 16-20 hours before using
for the fi rst time. The indicator (4) will light up during
charging. Remove the cord from the charging
socket once charging is complete and pack up the
charger. The sweeper is now ready for use.

• The sweeper can run for approximately 35-40

minutes on a full charge, depending on the task.

• The sweeper must always be switched off when

charging.

• The battery will last longer, and the sweeper

function better, if you discharge it fully, by using the
sweeper until there is no power left, around once a
month.

USE
• Press the on/off button (3) to start and stop the

sweeper.

• The sweeper works like a vacuum cleaner. Use the

fl oor brushes (12) on large fl oor areas, stairs, etc.
Use the corner brush (11) in corners and along
panels that are awkward for the fl oor brushes.

• Do not turn the sweeper upside down when there is

dust or dirt in the collection tray (5), as this may fall
out.

• Switch the sweeper off using the on/off button after

use.

EMPTYING THE COLLECTION TRAY
The dust/dirt is sucked up into the transparent

collection tray. It is easy to see when the tray needs
emptying.

• Switch off the sweeper. Check whether the

collection tray is full.

• Pull the collection tray out of the sweeper and

empty it into a dustbin or similar.
