This is not recommended. The reason is that the uninterrupted transfer of
data is the most critical condition for successfully writing a CD-R or CD-
RW. Applications running in the background run the risk of interrupting
this data flow and causing a fatal error while writing. This will render
your CD-R and, in most cases, your CD-RW media useless.
Troubleshooting tips for Toast software are found in the Documentation.pdf
file located in the same folder as your Toast application.

Warning: Making adjustments or performing procedures other than
those specified in your equipment’s manual may result in hazardous
