Cleaning door lint filter
The lint screen in the door casing
collects lint generated by the drying
process. Clean it after every drying*.
* Also check the lint screen when
the Filter/Vent indicator light comes
on.
Cleaning the lint screen without
water
Tip: You can dispose of the lint without
touching it by using a vacuum cleaner.
^ Pull the lint screen (1) out of the door
casing.
^ Rub or vacuum the lint from the
screen surface.
^ Remove the lint from the space in the
door casing with a bottle brush or the
vacuum.
^ Wipe the door casing seal (2) all
around with a damp cloth.
^ Insert the lint screen fully into the
door casing and close the door.
Cleaning the lint screen with water
The lint screen should be given a
wet cleaning only when it is
severely blocked or plugged.
^ Clean the lint screen under running
hot water.
^ Dry it thoroughly with care.
