Other functions during cooking
• Every time you press one of the buttons, a beep is heard.
• The appliance exits the program mode after approx. 30 seconds with no activity.
• You can check the power at any time during cooking by pressing the

"Microwave" button (m). The power is shown for 3 seconds before the remaining
cooking time is shown again.

• You can check the time at any time during cooking by pressing the "Clock/Pre-

set" button. The time will flash for 2-3 seconds before the the remaining cooking
time is shown again.

Express cooking
Express cooking takes place at full microwave power for the number of minutes you
set. The maximum cooking time that can be set for express cooking is 12 minutes.

1. Press the "Start/Express Cook" button repeatedly to set the cooking time. Each

press increases the cooking time by 30 seconds until a cooking time of 1 minute
and 30 seconds or more is reached. Each press then increases cooking time by
1 minute.

2. The oven automatically commences cooking at full power, and the display

shows the remaining cooking time.

3. You may increase the cooking time during cooking by pressing the “Start/

Express Cook” button.

Manual cooking – selecting power level
1. Press the "Microwave" button repeatedly to select the power level required. See

the various levels in the table below.

2. When the display shows the desired power, set the cooking time using the "10’ ”

(d), “+1’ “, “10” “ (g) and “1”- “ buttons.

o Minimum selection is 1 second and maximum selection is 99 minutes and 99
seconds.
3. Press the "Start/Express Cook" button to commence cooking.
4. The oven will start and the display will show the remaining cooking time.

Automatic reheat
Automatic reheat is used for reheating foods of a known weight.
1. Press the “Auto Reheat” button (c); “150” is shown in the display.
2. Press the "Auto Reheat" button repeatedly to select weight of the food.
o Choose between 150 g, 250 g, 350 g and 400 g.
3. Press the "Start/Express Cook" button to commence cooking. The display will

show the remaining time.

Grilling
1. Press the “Grill/Combi” button. (b) once to select grilling. The display shows “G-

1”.

2. Press the buttons "10’ ", "+1’ ", "10" and “1”- “ to set the required cooking time.
o Minimum selection is 1 second and maximum selection is 99 minutes and 99
seconds.
3. Press the "Start/Express Cook" button to commence cooking.
4. The oven will start and the display will show the remaining cooking time.

NOTE: Grilling is always carried out at full power. In order to achieve an even result,
turn the foods after half the cooking time has elapsed.

Combination programs with microwave power and grill
The appliance has two combination programs with microwaves and grill.
1. Press the “Grill/Combi” button two or three times to choose combination

programme. See the various levels in the table below.

o Minimum selection is 1 second and maximum selection is 99 minutes and 99
seconds.
2. Press the "Start/Express Cook" button to commence cooking.
3. The oven will start and the display will show the remaining cooking time.

Defrost function
The appliance may be used to defrost foods by selecting the 2 defrosting
programmes (see below).

Defrosting by weight
1. Place the frozen foods in the appliance.
2. Press the "Wt. Time Defrost" button (a) once. “Def1” appears on the display.
3. Press the "+1’ " or “1"- " buttons to set the weight of the food.
o Weight may be selected from 100- 2000 g at intervals of 100 g.
4. Press the "Start/Express Cook" button to commence defrosting.
5. The oven will start and the display will show the remaining cooking time.

Defrosting by time
1. Place the frozen foods in the appliance.
2. Press the "Wt. Time Defrost" button twice. “Def2” appears on the display.
3. Press the buttons "10’ ", "+1’ ", "10" and “1”- “ to set the required cooking time.
o Minimum selection is 1 second and maximum selection is 99 minutes and 99
seconds.

NOTE: In order to achieve an even result, turn or stir the frozen foods after half the
defrosting time has elapsed.

Cooking using auto-menu
The appliance has 8 auto menu programmes used for different food types (see auto
menu list in the table below).

1. Press the "MENU" button (f) until the display shows the required auto menu

program.

2. Press the “+1’ “ or “1”- “ buttons to select a setting corresponding to a volume

or number (see the table below).

o When selecting a setting, the appliance will automatically select the
appropriate cooking time.
3. Press the "Start/Express Cook" button to commence cooking.
4. Cooking commences and the remaining cooking time is shown.

NOTE: It may be necessary to stir or turn the food once half the cooking time has
elapsed in order to ensure uniform cooking.
NOTE: When cooking pasta (program 4) add boiling water before starting to cook.

Multi-stage cooking
The appliance can run up to two programmes in continuation of each other. If one
of the selected programmes is the defrosting programme, it must always be the first
programme.

Example: You want to set a programme cooking at 100 % power for 10 minutes and
cooking at 80 % power for 15 minutes in that order.
1. Press the "Microwave" button once to select 100 % power.
2. Press the "10’ " button once to set 10 minutes.
3. Press the "Microwave" button twice to select 80 % power.
