If you experience a problem with this unit, check the chart below before calling for service.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
PLAYER will not
turn on. Battery weak or dead.
Power the unit using the supplied
AC adapter or see page 39 for

There is no sound

headphones. Headphone plug not inserted correctly.

formats. Use the record function in
MusicMatch to encode the files into
MP3 or WMA formats and then
save them to the playlist.
