INTRODUCTION
Please read this instruction manual
carefully and familiarise yourself with
your new Ice cream cone waffle maker
before using it for the first time.
Please retain this manual for future
reference.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before you start using your new waffle
maker, the heating plates must be
wiped over with a damp cloth. You
may grease the heating plates with
butter, but it is not necessery.
RECIPE
Icecream cone waffles
125 gr. of melted butter
100 gr. of casted sugar
5 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla-flavoured sugar
150 g. of wheat flour
2 tsp. of baking soda
1)
Whip the eggs and the casted
sugar thouroughly with a mixer
2)
Add melted butter (which has
cooled off) and vanilla.
3)
Add the wheat flour mixed
thouroughly with the baking
powder.
NORMAL USE
1.
Place the waffle maker at a plane
horizontal work surface.
2.
Connect to 230 V via the plug to
the outlet. The indicator lamp will
light up. Set the thermostat
control to the desired level, we
suggest that you set it at only
2/3rds of the max. temperature
when baking the cones. During
this first heating some smoke may
appear, this is normal.
3.
Close the lid and wait until the
lamp turns off. Now the waffle
maker has the right temperature.
4.
Open the waffle maker; place a
large tablespoon of dough in the
middle of the lower heating plate,
it will spread out when you close
the lid.
5.
Close the lid.The indicator lamp
will go on and off during use
indicating that the thermostat is
working correctly.
6.
Bake the waffle for a couple of
minutes until it is light golden. Be
careful not to bake the waffle for
too long as it will then become
very difficult to shape it into a
cone.
7.
Do not open the waffle maker
during the first minute of the
baking process.
8.
Now gently open the waffle maker,
carefully loosen the waffle with a
plastic or wooden palette. (NEVER
use any metal utensils on the
baking plates as this will damage
the non-stick surface.) Using the
cone shaper you now shape the
icecream cone waffle as fast as
possible. Let the finished waffle
rest for a minute with the joint
downwards and the cone shaper
placed inside it until it has cooled
off.
9.
When you have finished baking all
the waffles and they have cooled
off properly you can store them in
an airtight cake tin where they will
stay crispy for several weeks.
