Attaching the chimney
extension
The use of a chimney extension, allows
the hood to be installed at various
distances from the ceiling.
NOTE: The extension must be
intalled in relationship to the method
of venting; Extraction or
Recirculation.
Recirculation Air extraction
The extension piece has vented
openings on one end.
These vents are required for recir-
culation mode and will be closest to the
ceiling when installed.
For air extraction, the vents are not
required and are covered by the
chimney.
