23.3 Using NexTView
Recording a programme
If you have a Metz video recorder with dialogue
system, the NexTView programme guide permits
you to start a recording by pressing a single key.
• Open the NexTView programme guide.
• Use the "P+/P-" rocker key to select the pro-
gramme you want to record.
If a video recorder with dialogue system is con-
nected:
- Switch on the video recorder.
- Insert a cassette.
- Press the red key
on the remote control of
the TV set.
If a normal video recorder is connected:
- Switch on the video recorder.
- Insert a cassette.
- Press the red key
on the remote
control of the TV set - the TV timer is
programmed.
- On the video recorder programme a
timer with the date and time on the
AV programme position so that the
programme provided by the TV timer
will be recorded.
If you want to record a programme from a
terrestrial station (received via antenna or
cable), you must programme the video
recorder itself.
