The new SR7005 AV Receiver with 7 x 125 W into 8 Ohms keeps cross channel contamination to an absolute
minimum for ultra-precise signal processing. The ‘muscle’ power of the system comes from the current feedback
circuitry with Marantz HDAMs and an oversized low impedance transformer for rapid current supply. Not even
extreme demands for power will pull the SR7005 off balance. The ‘brain’ of the system is the latest 400 MHz Sharc
DSP, which easily handles HD audio decoding including the Audyssey DSX and the MultEQ XT room calibration. The
source signal can be either digital or analogue, and it can also be from a wide variety of inputs. Firstly, there are six
HDMI 1.4a inputs – one of which is hidden behind the front flap for easy access. For new media there is a
iPod-digital-compatible USB input, while the RJ45 Network jack provides connection to vTuner Internet radio and
music services such as Napster and last.fm. You can even access your music library stored on computer (see the
graphic on page 11). Classical analogue signals will come from the built-in FM tuner or via either the analogue input
jacks or the Phono equalizer: which is ideal for vinyls. Video signals are also treated with loving care by ABT2015
video processing, a host of video adjustment possibilities and two HDMI 1.4a outputs supporting 3D video. It’s all
there, eager to please.

The new SR7005 features network connections – so you can enjoy almost any music file from almost any device.
The SR7005 offers audio streaming capabilities thanks to the built-in digital media player, so it can decode music
files stored on your PC or external storage unit streamed via the network. Almost any file is possible including MP3,
WMA, FLAC and AAC. And all handled with the best possible quality, thanks to the high quality built-in audio
processing engine and Marantz Digital Audio Expander (M-DAX) technology for compressed audio.
With built-in vTuner Internet Radio, you can also enjoy thousands of on-line radio stations and with optional
Bluetooth connectivity (RX101 module) music can even be streamed from a compatible Bluetooth device.

The latest version of the Hdmi standard (1.4a) is also at work in this year’s collection of marantz AV
receivers*– to ensure that both movie lovers and gamers are completely future-proofed with spectacular
3d video support at 1080p Hd. but that’s not all. As you would expect with marantz, we’ve built in
a whole range of audio quality performance enhancements. For example, the power supply has been
strengthened with a new power transformer and customized components. The signal processing power
has also been enhanced by using the latest generation 32 bit sharc dsp from Analogue devices. And
it’s not just performance that’s been enhanced, there are also many convenience features in this year’s
line up. For example, auto set-up with microphone, video conversion for one cable connection to the
tV set, and extended connectivity including Hdmi front input.
Also, for the new way of enjoying media via the network / internet, the top model includes an integrated
media player. it’s all pure enjoyment for the eyes and ears. And even when these units are not playing,
they add style and attitude to the living room, thanks to their elegant design. be it slim height AV,
middle class AV with control button and front input hidden behind flap, or the top-of-the-range AV
with a classy circular display – take a closer look, you can practically hear the quality.
